Timber is made available in customised sizes to suit your requirement.  Typically timber can be classified into three types based on its strength viz. Hard wood, semi-hard wood, & soft wood.

• Hard wood: Timber like Teak, African Padauk, Malaysian sal, Merbau (Vengai), and other indian speecies are predominantly used to make door & window frames.  Each of these types have subtle differences in their characteristics.
• Semi-hard wood: Timber like Beechwood, Treated Rubberwood and other indian varieties are used for various interior purposes including furniture because of the ease in working with them.
• Soft wood: Plantation woods including Pine, Rubber, & Silver Oak varieties are used as packing materials and for temporary layouts.

Plywoods are nothing but a derivative of timber.  Plywood is manufactured using timber and timber veneers.  Broadly they can be classified into two based on its water resistance properties viz. Waterproof Plywood & Commercial Plywood.

• Waterproof Plywood: They undergo various treatments including chemical treatments to attain various degrees of the character.  Different brands claim different levels of resistance.  It would be prudent to use them only where there could be moisture or water as they are expensive compared to commercial plywood.
• Commercial Plywood: On the other hand, commercial plywood does not undergo any treatment. 

Plywoods are also treated for termite & borer resistance apart from properties described earlier.
